Due to the severe need of the area and lack of emergency space/sphere at Emam Khomeini hospital and the increasing number of referrals, the design and construction of the emergency and cancer building of Emam Khomeini hospital in Urmia city was triggered in 2016. And predictions were made regarding the further expansion of the upper floors of the building for clinical and Inpatient cases of cancer as well as educational purposes based on the [upcoming] needs. Also, the criteria selected for the design and implementation of this project are in accordance with the principles of international standards and in coordination with the architecture of the established buildings at the site as well as the viewpoints of the client.
